For either of those jobs, how would the guy on the left's appearance be preferable? You could have compared either of those jobs to a sales job, work as a banker, or really any other profession where you wear a suit. Sorry for hating, but your an idiot. No, I don't have a mac lol.
LOL Dumbass, I'm asking him if he's been in dirty labour jobs or delivery driver jobs where a suit is a "slight negative" for your first impression. Obviously an employer doesn't want to hire someone who will have a whinge when they get their brand new suit dirty. Hence why they would not be chosen for that job. On the other hand, if Justin Long (the guy on the right) rocked up to a job interview for a management position, an administrator, a finance officer, or nearly any other office job, his skills would be ignored because of his disrespect for the standard interview appearance code.
well.. depends where u work, for me, if someone showed up in something like in right side for a interview, they would not be taken seriously. (programmer). Of course thats only for the interview, afterwords they can easily wear something more similar to the right, just maybe not a t-shirt. Unless the company is stuck in the 60s. lol
Um, the whole point of the adds is that PC's are a better choice for office jobs, you know the kind of job you wear a suit to?
A mac would be better suited for something creative like music, photography or graphic design. I think I'd steer clear of the guy in the tweed suit and Ben Stein glasses (just to make sure you were aware that he wasn't some swanky professional in a suave silk suit with a college haircut) if I were looking for someone for one of those jobs. But than again, that's why we shouldn't base so much on looks, eh?
Maybe we should pay more attention to the things we're trying to diss.
well, i should prob re track my statement and say for the server being linux instead, esp for a dedicated server. Otherwise i use windows for coding, and a linux boxes for servers
Realising that you probably won't, let me make this clear:
internally…
Mac=PC
A mac is jsut a PC with a specific set of comercially available parts put into it (except the Macbook air which has a specially made processor, which is still functionally identical to any other Intel processor).
Macs use Mac OS, cost more and look pretty (until they get anywhere near anything dangerous like dirt or a table or your hands). If you like Mac OS and don't midn the overhead, knowk yourself out. but the tech is the same.
it's been a very long time since I've worked anywhere where the guy on the left's appearance/style wouldn't be at least a slight negative.
Are you working in a dirty labour job or as a delivery driver? lol….

Would you show up for a job interview in the clothes you expected to work in, or a suit?

retarded people are retarded
thanks, yeah you are reinforcing the image of mac ads, that pcs are for pencil pushing office monkeys.
and gamers
and engineers, and draftsmen
And website hosters, php programmers, and hackers.
Linux is for hackers
also for php programmers..
That's if they actualy care

Too bad mac is the more advanced technology. But good try.
Could you please clarify that statement?

Hi, I'm a PC.
And I'm a Ma… ok, ok, I'm a Unix based system.
I work in the games industry. Even our Directors come to work in trainers.
